ABOUT MIKE GREER
Mike Greer Has Seen What Happens When Government Fails the Basics
Mike Greer, as school board president, helped lead the way through the aftermath of the Camp Fire in Paradise. He understands the real cost of broken infrastructure, delayed decisions, and government systems that leave families to pick up the pieces. As a retired special education professional, school board leader, and Del Norte County trustee, Mike has spent his life working with students, families and local communities. He is not running to manage California's decline. He is running to audit it, challenge it, and bring common sense back to Sacramento.
Common Sense Audit:
The Basics Are Broken.
Sacramento keeps asking families to pay more while schools, public safety, infrastructure, housing, and the cost of living get worse. Mike Greer is running to demand results, not excuses.

Affordability & Accountability
Families pay more and get less.
Californians are being crushed by the cost of gas, electricity, housing, insurance, food, and healthcare — while Sacramento keeps spending billions on programs that fail to deliver. Mike Greer believes every dollar should be tied to results, accountability, and relief for working families.

Education
Billions spent = failing schools
California pours billions into education, yet too many students still fall behind in reading, math, science, and basic classroom safety. Mike Greer believes the California Department of Education needs serious restructuring, real accountability, and a return to local control — because families and students deserve results, not excuses.

Water Security
Water storage is survival.
California cannot keep blaming the weather while refusing to build and protect the infrastructure that families, farms, and communities depend on. Mike Greer believes a state that cannot store water, prevent fires, maintain roads, and prepare for emergencies is failing at the most basic job of government.
